Maybe in an OVA where it is a one-shot deal, but not another whole season. Sadly the way Plastic Memories ended just doesn't leave a spot left to make another IslaxTsukasa story. As it is right now,the ending is perfect for what the story set out to do.ĭon't worry about the 5 stages of grief thing, I'm in it currently from binge watching Angel Beats (great one by the way if you haven't seen it and looking for a new feels anime). This way, the story that is finished is not torn back open unnecessarily, and there can still be a way to expand on the Giftia story. That's my reasoning why a season 2 would have to be a completely new Terminal Service, if not one in the far future where Tsukasa is either no longer there, or is now Chairman of the specific one. Unfortunately, as much as we all want it, that possibility is not that the new person is Isla. Second, as much as I want to think a second season will happen, there's only 1 single possibility that will MAYBE make it not a complete asspull and ruin the series.
